Ford Kelly is a Black Alien (Queer Trans*) facilitator who lives, works and rests in Berlin.
Their interests are within the areas of Afrofuturism and how this can be framed to centre Black lives in daily movements. As well as how Afrofuturism can center Rage and frame Rest as a form of Reparations.
They have been and are involved in a number of community projects and events in Berlin over the years. Some of which are the Co-organising and Formation of CutieBIPOC festival. (A D.I.Y/ D.I.T festival for and by queer_ Trans_inter_Black Indigenous and People of Color) and Transformations. (A Trans* film festival based in Berlin) as well as Co facilitating a Feminist of Color dance and movement research space.
